BENEFIT FOR GUAM’S WORKING FAMILIES

Senator-elect Rector will not be stepping down from his position as GFT President. There are at least eight other Union leaders in the mainland who serve in the legislature as well. This is not uncommon throughout the nation. Rector’s position in the legislature and his position in the Union has no personal benefit for him but actually benefits Guam’s working families. The PDN has created a perception of Rector’s dual position as inappropriate but he has no interest in For-Profit companies that have personal gains. His only interest is to improve the quality of our lives by representing Guam’s families.
