If you’re feeling blue, lonely or just need someone to talk to; someone is always available to listen. Trained holiday crisis hotline volunteers will be available during New Years Eve (Dec. 31st)  from 6p.m. to 6 a.m.  (Jan. 2nd., 2009) to provide program referrals ranging from basic needs, such as food, safety and clothing to substance abuse treatment.  Volunteers will be assisting the callers by referring them to the appropriate services.  Call the Department of Mental Health & Substance Abuse, holiday crisis hotline at 647-8833 for assistance.  For a complete list of community programs, visit www.peaceguam.org.
