“Before we organized our union with GFT we were getting $9.29 per hour and no respect, now, we make $13.95+ per hour and are treated with the dignity and respect that every person deserves. Thanks to our union contract (CBA) my union brothers and sisters and I have a much better lifeâ€, DODEA Bus driver. CBAs exist in order to have a fair and balanced workplace between management and employees. Workers deserve respect and fair treatment and should have the ability to negotiate for proper working conditions and decent wages. CBAs are good for our families, good for the company, and good for our overall economy.
