FIGHTING FOR GUAM’S HEALTH CARE REFORM IN DC!

We’re making progress in the push for Health Care Reform! Senator Matt Rector hand-delivered a letter urging President Barack Obama and members of the U.S. Congress to pass the comprehensive Health Care Reform in 2009 and highlighted the importance of including the US Territories. Senators Judi Won Pat, Tina Muna-Barnes, Judi Guthertz, Adolpho Palacios, Frank Aguon, Ben Pangelinan, and Tom Ada signed the letter with Senator Rector. During State Leaders’ Lobby Day October 13 & 14, Senator Rector joined the Progressive States Network talking to members of the Senate and House of Representatives telling them why Guam needs a health care reform. Senator Al Franken’s Office, Representative Ellison’s Office, Representative Walz, Senator Kerry’s Office, and Representative Kucinich all support Guam in the reform. View Letter
