GFT received a total of 9 awards at the AFTCN Awards Ceremony on Thursday, June 18, 2009 at the National Labor College in Silver Spring, Maryland. Many AFT Locals were present and received several awards as well. Good communication is one of the most important elements in having a successful union. GFT constantly communicates ways to improve Guam’s public structure through different types of media. When our members understand the overall message and pass it on to others, we are one step closer to fulfilling our mission of improving the lives of our working families.
