It can be quite difficult for workers to properly serve the people of Guam when conflicts arise in the workplace due to bad working conditions or unfair treatment. That is why it is important rules and regulations are enforced and followed from both management and employees. How can a bus driver drive our children safely if the speedometer isn’t working or how can a nurse take care of their patients if they are not compensated for the extra hours worked so they can take care of themselves? We here at GFT constantly encourage our members to step up and voice their concerns when situations at work occur that may negatively affect their work performance. It is important that workers understand their rights at work and protect those rights. When workers are treated properly then they can better serve their customers, clients, patients or patrons.
