Senator Edward “Ted” Kennedy of Massachusetts recently passed away at the age of 77. He has led many battles to place policies that ensure hardworking Americans can support themselves and their families. He has played a major role in the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Voting Rights Act of 1965, the 1990 Americans with Disabilities Act and the 1993 Family and Medical Leave Act.
