The Economic and Social Development Committee, a tripartite body of businesses, labor unions and the government, said yesterday its members have finalized a blueprint for ending monthly salaries to union members fully engaged in union affairs rather than duties in the workplace. The proposals also include unifying negotiation channels for multiple labor unions in a single workplace Based on the committee’s draft, the Labor Ministry will propose revisions to bills on labor unions and labor relations at the regular session of the National Assembly scheduled for late June.
