According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, of the 8,870 adults wanting a job on Guam, about 35% of them cannot find work or believe there are no jobs available. It’s obvious our economy isn’t catered for the majority of our population when you see construction for high-end homes and condominiums that only the wealthy class can afford and you see businesses thrive when their workers earn below the poverty level. You know there’s something wrong when big corporations receive major tax breaks yet the working class pays their share of taxes for our underfunded public schools, hospital, safety departments, etc. You can make our economy work for everyone.
