In a recent article, PDN again directed its attention on Senator Matt Rector in another attempt to distract the Senator’s fight for Guam’s Working Families. The article again reported inaccurate information pertaining to a response written by the Attorney General on issues involving the Port Authority of Guam negotiations. Senator Rector was looking for clarification and the AG responded stating that by answering Senator Rector’s question, would be a conflict of interest on their part! Finally, the article is once again incorrectly and inadequately reporting there is arbitration in our contracts, which is not true. Senator Rector, despite this next round with PDN, is not about to give up on Guam’s Working Families. Mahatma Ghandi once said, “First they ignore you. Then they laugh at you. Then they fight you. Then you win.” We are going to win! We all knew the big corporations were going to fight hard to keep things status quo which means keeping our working families down and I expect it will get worse before it gets better. But by weathering through this Together, we win!
