Not only is the sound of the departure and arrival of an airplane disturbing to a learning environment but there are many physiological effects to our children. According to a Cornell University study, health problems such as high blood pressure, boosted levels of stress hormones and the obvious hearing loss are possible long term effects caused by the chronic noise from airplanes.
