Do you have a friend or family member who had difficulties paying for medical treatment because they didn’t have insurance or their insurance didn’t cover the treatment? You probably know quite a few. The U.S. is one of the only countries in the world that offers numerous insurance plans which has created a system that doesn’t seem to work very well for the majority of the population. This past weekend, the U.S. House voted and approved the health care reform bill. This is a huge accomplishment in our efforts of improving our health care system but we’re not done yet. We still need to pass the Senate’s bill. Continue to make the phone calls or send the letters to members of the Senate and ensure they include Guam and the Territories.
