GFT is dedicated to improving the quality of life for our members and their families. One of the ways we accomplish this is through Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBA). CBAs give workers the protection they need in order to perform their job productively and be treated fairly. Thanks to a CBA, GFT wins for teachers who taught DEED in SY2007-2008. Teachers who submitted grievances for incorrect pay classification and grade for DEED will be getting their back pay. GFT wins for teachers at GW! Administration failed to comply with the CBA pertaining to changing the bell schedule. In accordance to the CBA, a majority vote from the teachers must be made when deciding to alter the schedule.
