“66 years of U.S. Occupation and no war reparations” and “Environmental disaster in progress” were just a few of the posters held up by several activists last Friday at the Rally for Pagat Cave hosted by We Are Guahan. This was one of the various attempts to convince Military officials not to use Pagat Cave as a Firing Range and remain a crucial part of our environment and a National Historic Site. “We want to tell the Military No Build-up. We don’t want them to take anymore Chamorro land from us. They took 1/3 of the land from us before and now they want more”, stated one of the activists. Be on the lookout for a segment on the rally in the next episode of The Working Family TV Show.
