DELEGATES WIN FOR GUAM AT CONVENTION!!!

In spite of a delay in getting their credentials, due to a misguided effort by Carol Somerfleck to sabotage our delegates, they still won important amendments for Guam and the other territories. At-Large officers represented GFT at this year’s AFT Convention in Seattle. The 4,000 leaders and delegates at the convention passed President Rector’s proposed amendments to the AFT Constitution that will benefit Guam. One of the amendments includes Guam in a major National AFT Study which is incredibly important for our members. This year’s convention has been going good with several changes that will help our union acquire the information and resources needed to grow.
