DOE UNION DUES NOT PART OF THE 3 LIMIT

On Tuesday, President Rector met with Superintendent Underwood to discuss Payroll deductions for DOE employees. He proposed that the union dues paid by over 1,000 DOE employees would not be considered as one of the three voluntary deduction maximum. The next day, the proposal was accepted via an email from the Superintendent but as of press time the official Memorandum of Understanding had not been signed. This essentially gives the majority of DOE workers one more deduction.
