GFT AUDITS ARE CLEAN!

Members should be proud to know that GFT’s financial audits for fiscal years 2008 and 2009 came out clean! In an extra effort to ensure GFT’s finances are up to par, President Rector requested that our national affiliate, the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) Finance Department, evaluate the audits. AFT General Manager of Finance responded stating, “These audits satisfy the AFT requirements as found in the AFT bylaws Article IX, Affiliate Audit and Financial Review Requirements, Section 1.” Over the years, we have spent a lot of time and money to grow our communications and improve transparency in our union.
