GFT Members have more representation, services and protection than any other union member in the nation bar none! Several unions in the States do not have the advantage of having a full-time staff to handle issues and concerns at their workplace. With 3 field reps to take care of organizing and representing, 2 member service coordinators to keep membership lists up to date, answer the phones and greet members, a Professional development director, a 3 person communications department and full time accountant to keep the books straight our members know that their union is there when they need it! GFT Members can actively participate in union events and campaigns by being informed through GFT’s various media (website, eUpdate Newsletter, The Working Family TV Show, Direct Mailers, SMS, etc.). Member services and benefits have progressed throughout the years and are constantly improving every year. Be on the lookout for more improvements in the very near future!
