Boeing and its Long Beach-based C-17 assembly line workers reached a tentative contract agreement setting up a vote on the proposed deal as early as Wednesday, according to the Los Angeles Times. The United Auto Workers Local 178 represents over 1,700 assembly line workers at the C-17 facility. Workers have been on strike since early May and negotiations reached their peak this week leading to the agreement. continue reading
