OUR KIDS NEED MORE PROTECTION NOT LESS!!!

Evergreen Solutions “management audit” is rearing its ugly head again and giving Senators another excuse to cut DOE’s budget by endangering our kids. While a number cruncher can look at staffing patterns and complain that they are higher than the National average they do not present a real solution as to what is best for Guam’s students. Did they take into consideration the high number of 1 to 1 aides that are federally mandated for our students with special needs? Did they account for the socio-economic status of our kids as compared to the National Average? Did they actually spend time at every school to witness the hard work and multiple jobs that our Para professionals do? No, they like every other contractor did what they were paid to do, find a way to justify firing staff no matter what the consequences are to our children.
