PUBLIC HEARING ON HAY STUDY TOMORROW, NOV.9 @3PM PUBLIC HEARING ROOM!

If you are a public employee then it’s important that you attend the public hearing tomorrow on Bill 469 regarding the Hay study. We are still reviewing the bill, but so far there are quite a few challenging issues that will affect all of our workers. “While it purports to ensure fairness and equity it basically allows the directors and boards to do whatever they want without legislative or collective bargaining oversight”, explained President Rector. As much as we want and need a pay increase for everyone, it’s important that we review the details of the bill so that we don’t run into any problems in the near future.
