Last month, we won a huge victory when the Guam Education Policy Board (GEPB) unanimously voted to order the Superintendent to pay back teachers for the illegal furlough of SY ’03-’04. While that was a great victory, we are not done until every teacher has a check in their pocket. The GEPB will further discuss the issue at tonight’s meeting. Hopefully, a solution will be enforced that will bring justice for our teachers once and for all.
