TECHNICAL ERRORS IN GFT DELEGATE ELECTION

Sol Smith had also announced during the meeting that election committee for GFT’s Delegates for the AFT Convention in July of this year committed a technical error. For some reason a constitutional amendment that was passed by the membership correcting the dates wasn’t in the most recent copy of GFT’s constitution. While the election committee followed the documented will of the members they did not follow the letter of the currently posted constitution.
