Fortunately, GFT’s DOE Board Union Contract includes a specific class size to ensure the greatest possible teacher time per student. Although decent class sizes require more teachers and can be costly for the Department, it is a much needed investment in order to give our children quality education. “I never realized how important our CBA was until I taught in a non-union school in the states: 45 kids in a class, crazy workloads and no respect at work.
