We are in the process of winning a better life for our GMH Nurses and DPW Bus Drivers as we are currently negotiating their renewal contracts. President Matt Rector is the Chief Negotiator for both contracts. Our nurses need to have fair working hours so that they can take care of their patients better. Our bus drivers need good working conditions so that they can safely transport our children. Hopefully, the negotiations will run smoothly and our brothers and sisters at GMH and DPW can have a good contract in place that will ensure a family-friendly work environment that they deserve. Taking care of the people that serve us is not only good for them but for all of Guam’s families so that we can have quality healthcare for everyone and a reliable transportation for our children.
