Vice Speaker B.J. Cruz and Senator Tina Muna-Barnes have introduced a bill that they say will promote good parenting by allowing GovGuam employees “administrative leave” so that they can be involved i8n their children’s school activities.
They have called the bill the “Invest in Good Parenting Act.”
The measure would allow GovGuam employees to take time off from work to attend teacher conferences, school activities and competitions and to chaperon their children’s field trips. continue reading
