We will be offering the Educators’ Rights and Responsibilities Professional Development course starting June 6, 2011 for GFT members only. This course will provide a broad overall view of educators’ rights at the workplace. It will cover their functions as a worker’s advocate, grievance procedures, the importance of unity and participation, laws affecting educators and present cases of interest, and stewardship. Cost: $285.00 – $75.00 deposit required upon registration, with remaining balance due by the last day of class.
