Who comes to our aid when we are in trouble or danger? Who keeps our roads, houses and offices safe? Who puts their lives on the line to protect ours? That’s right: Cops, firefighters, DOC employees and the rest of the hard working men and women of Guam’s Public Safety community. Four years ago they were promised a 40% raise but only got half. They were robbed of overtime and we had to go to court to get what was owed to them but it has never been paid out. If our Governor and Legislature can’t give justice to those who protect us then what hope can the rest of us have that our families will be treated fairly and justly by our elected officials?
