MEAD WAGES WAR ON TEACHERS AND STUDENTS

Barry Mead is the Guam Education Board (GEB) member in charge of collective bargaining for the Board and once again he has walked away from the Bargaining Table thus endangering teachers and students. Last night Mr. Mead issued a press release full of mistruths and attacks on teachers.  Up until this point GFT has not editorialized or issued any statements relative to the GEB team’s outrageous behavior or proposals.  We only posted on gftunion.com actual documents that anyone could read in hopes to avoid any animosity while at the same time allowing teachers and parents to remain informed about these critical negotiations.  Unfortunately, this did not help.  Read press release
