The new start date for the Foundations of Effective Teaching is on Tuesday, November 8, 2011.  The course addresses the fundamental aspects of teaching and learning that are relevant for teachers and classroom paraprofessionals in all grade levels and subject areas.  A Professional Development course for Educator’s Rights & Responsibilities is also available beginning November 17, 2011.  This course is designed to give the class participant a broad overall view of unions, their structure, purpose and functions.  Interested participants must register prior to the start of the courses at the GFT Office.  A $75 deposit must be made upon registration with the remaining balance paid at the end of the class.  View ER&D Schedule
