Teachers interested in taking classes for graduate credits or for recertification/reclassification can take Foundations of Effective Teaching I. This course examines proven practices for establishing and maintaining classroom management, maximizing use of learning time, questioning and feedback skills, homework, interactive guided instruction strategies, and scaffolding techniques. The course begins on Monday, December 12, 2011 from 3 to 6pm at the GFT Union Hall. Registration is open and must be done at the GFT office with a $75 deposit.
