California recently made a deal with Amazon for online tax collection which will generate billions of dollars for the State. This is a huge break for Guam as the island’s retailers should be behind this if it was to be implemented. President Matt Rector emailed some of our Senators suggesting that this could be something to consider for generating additional revenue to our struggling Public Schools and Structure. “Once again, we are ready, willing and able to provide any help that we can to ensure that our teachers have the tools they need to give our children the education they deserve, our firefighters have the equipment they need to give our families protection and the rest of our public workers have the resources they need to be able to give our people quality public services,” stated President Rector.
