President Rector will be voicing his concern on Bill 64-31 which will allow DOE to enter into a public-private partnership through a performance management contract for the building and facility maintenance. Rector will speak against this bill because it will not solve DOE’s maintenance challenges but will create additional problems for the department; thus burdening our children in the long run. The public hearing will be tomorrow, February 17th at the Legislative public hearing room 1pm.
