The Educators’ Rights and Responsibilities Professional Development course will be available for GFT members only starting on November 17, 2011 to February 16, 2012. This course will provide a broad overall view of educators’ rights at the workplace.  It will cover their functions as a worker’s advocate, grievance procedures, the importance of unity and participation, laws affecting educators and present cases of interest, and stewardship.  Interested students can register at the GFT Office.  A $75 deposit is required upon registration with the remaining balance due at the end of the course.
