TAKE PART IN YOUR CONTRACT AT THE TEACHER NEGOTIATIONS TODAY, 4:00PM AT DOE BOARD ROOM

After a huge victory for teachers and parents at last week’s GEB (Guam Education Board) meeting, the current teachers’ contract is finally extended until August 2012 and negotiations resume today.  The GEB Team suggests beginning negotiations with a review of the ground rules, some discussion and clarifications and a set meeting schedule.  Teachers and parents are encouraged to attend the meeting today at 4pm with your “I Make A Difference” T-shirts.  We will have some shirts available at the meeting for those who have not received one.  For more updates on the negotiations, please visit GFT’s Teachers’ Negotiations campaign web page.
