WHY ARE THEY ATTACKING FIREFIGHTERS?

Because they make a decent wage!!!  While every other working person on Guam in both the Private and Public Sectors make less than half of what they should GFD firefighters are actually making just about the right amount, sort of.  The OPA reported an average annual income of $78,000 (including OT) for GFD which seems pretty good but not the highest in the Nation by far in Los Angeles they make $95,000 WITHOUT INCLUDING OVERTIME!!!  On top of that their Health insurance and retirement are worth two to three times what GFD firefighters and other GovGuam workers get.  We must remember what a dangerous and demanding job firefighters have, they spend half their lives away from their families running into dangerous situations while the rest of us run away.
