WILL PORT DIRECTOR ACT IN GOOD FAITH?

President Matt Rector sent another letter to the Port Authority Director on Monday, May 9th asking for the Board’s negotiating team to meet with GFT’s team and settle the contract. Last month, GFT sent the Port’s Director a letter requesting to resume negotiations and has not received a response. GFT’s negotiation team has already proposed a contract and would like the Port’s team to present their offer. The hardworking men and women of the Port have been anxiously waiting for a contract to be set in place to improve working conditions and ensure justice and fairness in the workplace.
