May Day or International Workers' Day is the day we remember the historic struggle of working people.  The history of May Day goes back to 1886 when 250,000 workers united and fought for and won an eight hour work week when they were forced to work longer hours for little to no pay.  We have come a long way but there are still more to be done.  To the 99%, let us continue the fight for fairness and justice in the workplace not just for ourselves but for our children’s children so that they can live a decent life.
