We have two ER&D classes available this summer: Thinking Mathematics Volume 1 Foundations and Instructional Strategies that Work.  The ER&D classes are unique in that they are highly researched classes proven to work.  Thinking Mathematics addresses the kind of questioning that promotes thinking in math class and provides a framework for thinking about curriculum and lessons.  Participants who take Instructional Strategies that Work will learn how to evaluate curriculum materials for any content area, organize content for learning and develop or evaluate scoring guides for student tasks.  Anyone interested in taking these classes must register at the GFT Office, Monday to Friday between 8-5pm.  Students can receive 3 Graduate Credits from the University of San Diego.  Credits can also be used for re-certification or re-classification.
