THE TRUTH
Department Chairs: DC’s currently only exist in the High Schools where they use their extra preparation period to Meet with the Principal, disseminate information to their departments, inventory supplies and text books for their departments, make schedules for teachers, order supplies and books, assist teachers in their departments and more. This is critical work that needs to be done. If it’s not done by teachers who is going to do it? The principal? The Governor?
