We want to remind our teacher members that although the contract has expired, administrators must still honor the contract.  If you are experiencing any mistreatment or find any violations from your administrators, then please start grieving these cases.  The GFT office has field representatives that will assist you in the process or provide advice and representation if needed.  We are also still working on a new Grievance Procedure on the website that will make it easier and more convenient for members to start their Grievance Process.  Following the grievance procedure is the best way to start documenting these violations so that we can address this during the negotiation meetings.  Getting a new contract in place is a difficult and long process right now but your fellow stewards and negotiation team will be working on moving this along.
