Election Day:
Election day for DOE and DODEA Bus Drivers’ Bargaining Unit Officers will be on Friday, February 24, 2012 at the GFT Office in Mangilao from 7am to 5pm. To vote in this election, you must be a DOE Faculty or Alutiq employee and must have been a member in good standing on or before Friday, February 24, 2012.
Absentee Voting:
A member who is in good standing (as evidenced by the Membership Roster) and is eligible to vote, but is unable to vote at the polling station on the scheduled day of the election, may vote by absentee ballot only within four days preceding the last Friday in February between the hours of 8a.m. to 5p.m., at the GFT office in Mangilao as stated in the GFT Constitution and By-laws. Absentee voting for the GFT Bargaining Unit Officer Election begins on Monday, February 20, 2012 at the GFT Office from 8a.m. to 5p.m and will continue until Thursday, February 23, 2012.
