Members from the Port Authority attended the Board meeting on Wednesday, November 28 to voice their concern on the increments that they have yet to receive. Members showed great union power by showing their presence and simply following up on the status on the increment adjustments that were approved. The board has acknowledged that the increment is set in law. Unfortunately, it is still pending the finalized FY2013 Budget. GFT’s field representative was also present at the meeting and will be working with our Port member leaders on this issue.
