If you are called in to a meeting by your Administrator and you are unsure what the meeting is regarding or you feel it may lead to a disciplinary action against you, then you have the right to a representative.  Your may request to re-schedule the meeting until your representative is present.  It is an unfair labor practice if your administrator denies your request and continues with the meeting.  Should you experience this, all you need to do is take out your GFT membership card and read your Weingarten Rights stated on the back of the card.

“If this discussion could in any way lead to my being disciplined or terminated, or affect my personal working conditions, I respectfully request that my union representative, officer, or steward be present at this meeting. Until my representative arrives, I choose not to participate in this discussion.”
