SUPPORT GUAM’S TEACHERS WITH JUST A CLICK!

Now more than ever, teachers need to stand together as their right to negotiate a collective bargaining agreement (CBA) is at risk.  The Guam Education Board (GEB) has not agreed to resume negotiations for the Teachers’ CBA as they are questioning the validity of GFT’s authority to represent teachers. However, GFT was granted Exclusive Recognition for DOE teachers since 1970 and has maintained this recognition.  There is no reason why there should be a delay in the negotiations.  Without a CBA, our teachers’ working conditions, which are our children’s learning conditions, will not be protected.  Take a stand and let the board know that teachers deserve a CBA by clicking here!
