It’s a New Year with New Goals for our Union! Members have much to look forward to as we continue to work collectively with administrators, directors and the board in each of the agencies. Through the Union, members have the opportunity to provide input in their contracts and work closely with management to ensure they have good working conditions. With active participation in the union and the help of thousands of our members’ voices speaking up together, members will achieve great accomplishments in their workplaces. To kick off the year and get our community together, we will be hosting a Martin Luther King Festival on Sunday, January 20th at the GFT Compound in Mangilao from 3 – 8pm. This is a great way to unite our GFT community, connect with local businesses and organizations and continue to spread the message of workers’ rights. We hope to see members and their friends and family on this fun-filled event!
