FEAR OF RETALIATION

One of the biggest reasons why members don’t speak out when problems arise in the workplace is their fear of retaliation from management.  If members don’t speak out, then they will never see change and the problem will continue.  The only way to ensure fairness in the workplace is to enforce the governing policies and procedures through a grievance process.  Should there be any form of retaliation against an employee, then a second grievance should be initiated.
