GFT Executive Director spoke before the Guam Education Board at their regularly scheduled board meeting following up on the status of the collective bargaining agreement for DOE support staff. GEB Chair, Dr. Jose Cruz, stated that he will be following up with the Superintendent regarding the transmittal to the Attorney General’s office.
In 2010, the CBA was signed and ratified by the GFT President and the Chairperson of the Guam Education Board. For the past 4 years, support staff members have been waiting for their CBA to be signed by the Governor but it has yet to be sent to the Governor’s office. GFT representatives will be consistently asking the board to move forward with the CBA.
