A GFT member with the Department of Corrections (DOC) sought for guidance and representation with GFT to appeal an adverse action against the employee.  The member was an exemplary employee and received nine outstanding evaluations during the time of employment with the department.  With the assistance of GFT, the member and management was able to reach an agreement to settle the case.  During the hearing at the Civil Service Commission, the Director of DOC agreed to reinstate the member's employment with the Department.  This is a great victory for our member and another example of the importance of union representation!
