DPW BUS DRIVERS’ CBA FINAL DRAFT COMPLETED

The GFT – DPW Bus Drivers’ Collective Bargaining Agreement final draft has been completed by both Chief Negotiators. The draft is now pending the DPW Director’s review before proceeding with ratification by the GFT membership. Several issues have been discussed during negotiation meetings such as the sick leave policy, expediting new drivers to the field, the grievance procedure, adverse actions, paternity leave, daily overtime, the safety committee and including a privatization clause. GFT will be meeting with the Director on July 30 for his approval on the final draft.
